Demon Dance Co. is run by John & Irene Porterfield. Originally from Edinburgh, but now based in west Lothian,they have been dancing Modern Jive for around 10 years and have dabbled in other forms of dance, including Lindy hop, west Coast Swing, Ballroom & Latin American, and more recently Argentinian Tango. Their love of all things dance shows in the enthusiam they put into all of their events, and you are always assured of a warm welcome.

John is also one of the top Modern Jive DJs in the country under the alias of DANCE DEMON. He has DJd for most of the top UKdance organisations including Jive Addiction, achance2dance, Rock Bottoms, Chilled Sunday, Stokies Pure Blues, Sara White's jivenights, and Swingtastic. most recognized for his smoking Blues room sets, he can also set the floor alight in mainstream jive room, not to mention His swing, Latin and West Coast swing sets. just call him Mr versatile.
